		<description>the old spice commercials have provided me with a lot of entertainment during slow work days - so thanks for pointing them out (i too didnt see the original commercials, but not because i dont watch tv, but dvr has decreased my commercial watching time to nearly zero).

re: your point about connecting with the audience personally, i agree - but it seems that old spice may have missed the piece about knowing your audience as well when developing their campaign. i heard on the radio this morning that sales of their body wash have dropped 7% - it seems that the ladies (to whom the old spice guy speaks) are not the ones doing the shopping!

and my favorite oldspice tweet that has kept me laughing:
