Thanks, Joel.

The notion of discovering positive deviants is one that helps drive the work that Darim Online does.

There is a great article in Fast Company about Jerry Sternin who used the concept to help starving children in Vietnam. http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/41/sternin.html

Basically, the idea is to look at the people that when exposed to the same resources as everyone else are finding new ways to take advantage of them to be successful.

Through our Educator Fellowship and Learning Networks, Darim Online finds Jewish educators and leaders that are using social media in innovative ways and then we work with them to showcase their ideas and strengthen their skills for the benefit of our community.
